NYC March to End Fossil Fuels

As of September 6th, all three buses from DC to NYC are full! If you are wanting to come to NYC with us, please still complete the registration form and send your deposit. We will do our best to find other ways of getting folks to NYC (and if enough people come together, we may be able to rent a fourth bus!!).

This September, the UN Climate Ambition Summit in New York will gather world leaders to commit to phasing out fossil fuels. ​Thousands of us from across the US will take to the streets of New York on September 17th to demand President Biden and those at the summit take bold action to #EndFossilFuels. We're organizing a bus for folks from the DC area to NYC. Come with us! We'll be leaving early in the morning of September 17th to head up to NYC, participating in the march, and then coming back to DC late in the evening. We'll have some snacks, some tshirts, and loads of fun on the bus. 

If you want to come with us, tickets on our bus will be available until seats are full. To book a seat, you'll pay a $50 deposit, which you'll get back after the trip if you were aboard. If a $50 deposit is a hindrance to your participation, please email earthdaydcaction@gmail.com. If you need to cancel your ticket, email us at earthdaydcaction@gmail.com, and if you cancel before August 31st, your deposit will be returned to you.

If you're interested in coming but unsure if you want to book a seat on the bus, fill out the registration form and we'll email you updates as plans come together. Come back here whenever you're ready to book the bus as long as seats are available.

If you can't come, you can still help us end the era of fossil fuels! You can spread the word and sponsor another activist to come with us in the registration form. We're a grassroots group and any support getting people to NYC is welcome and deeply appreciated.
